I was gifted a large cut of light blue wool and I wanted to make a warm winter coat. I found Eliane Bergmann’s Pattern on Etsy and decided to make her quilted coat, but first I needed a quilt. So I decided to make one. I spent months piecing and quilting only to then cut it up for this jacket. Although it was possibly the most time-consuming and labor-intensive route I could have taken it was well worth it for the end result. I am very happy with it and it is on regular rotation in my wardrobe in the cold winter months.
