The Cordaroy used for these pants was custom-dyed by Helen Jewart. Then the fabric was cut into strips, sewn into sets of three at random, and then cut. Those sections were then sewn together into longer strips at random. This process continued till there was a large single piece patch work fabric that the pattern was cut out of. These pants were a lot of fun to make and showed up wonderfully on stage worn by Ethan Bowman as Leaf Coneybear, Who “makes his own Clothing.”
